The Natural Conundrum

Rolling hills, meandering rivers of the exotic nature,
to shear thrills, rousing shivers of humanistic creature,
passes the tide of time, the nature heals,
but the slide of grime, does the man ever reveal?

Tress uprooted, rivers polluted and animals evicted,
the human soul wandered, beleaguered and petered,
day in and day out the nature lost its soul,
and all we did was sit and cry foul?

Vagaries of biome, from floods to droughts,
gets us home, from bloods to thoughts,
if the mother earth could unleash herself,
what's stopping you from expressing thyself?
